How To Contact Someone

All-In Connections helps connect people on the outside with incarcerated individuals in Washington State. Most communication is completed through approved Washington Department of Corrections communication systems.

Step 1: Browse Connections

Visit the Browse Connections page and review available profiles. Each profile contains information about the individual, their interests, and what type of connection they are seeking.

Step 2: Review The Profile

Open the individual's profile and review their information, interests, facility information, and communication instructions. Make sure the connection is someone you would genuinely like to communicate with.

Step 3: Set Up Securus

Most Washington State facilities use Securus Technologies for messaging, phone calls, and approved communication services.

  1. Create a Securus account.
  2. Select Washington State Department of Corrections.
  3. Add the person's DOC number.
  4. Follow Securus verification instructions.
  5. Fund your account if required.
  6. Begin approved communication.

Step 4: Send Your First Message

Introduce yourself, share a little about who you are, and be respectful. Genuine communication often starts with a simple hello and an open mind.
